I have a large number of short pieces for piano and a few full scale ones. The first set – which I call, simply – 11 Short Pieces – inhabit a wide spectrum of colors and expressions, mostly from earlier years in my life as a composer. Preceding this set, which date mostly from my years as a student at the Cleveland Institute of Music, are works I wrote in high school years as a student of The New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts, where I started in earnest my life in music.
This first set includes Sonate Variatione, …Inspired by Liszt…, Derivations from a Melodic Framework, Three Pieces…. and the follow-on work… ///.
The second and above mentioned set includes Set of Three – works where certainly my love of the music of Stravinsky is clear, Epitaph for Georgia O’Keefe, Medieval Jazz, then three works inspired my one of my teachers at NOCCA, Ellis Marsalis – a little Jazzmusic, Tribute and Visionary Fugatos, then a couple of neoclassical pieces titled Scales and Homage I.S. and Nadia’s Theme.
GESTUREMUSIC is a larger-scale work and dates from college years while studying at Cornell University, as does my most performed major work for piano,

I also have a chamber concerto work titled RIEPPELMUSIC, composed for my dear friend Daniel Rieppel. I composed this piece during one of five visits to the MacDowell Arts Colony.
The earlier sets are sold two ways. Individually, very inexpensively as digital downloads. Pianists have fun mixing and matching to make variety sets for different occasions. If you wish a bound copy I have to charge a little more, mostly for time, as I do it myself. Gesturemusic, IN:MEMORIAM and Momenta are sold separately as a physical copy only as they are larger sized.
