The world premiere of the new version of The Musical Forest for full orchestra is now complete!  I have been developing  this work over recent years and this experience was highly rewarding! My daughter Sofia was amazing… she worked through a mild bug, endured grueling rehearsals and delivered two spectacular performances on the same day as the final dress… Not bad for a young human!… And we had loads of fun!… She took over the stage during rehearsal… playing on percussion instruments and dancing as the solo pianist practiced his Rachmaninov… We performed for over 1700 people! – Not bad for a challenging piece of new music!  Let’s see how many ears have been ‘woke’… 🙂 – Now on to the next adventure!  – Christopher Kaufman
